A lovely traditional old house of character situated in the historic heart of the pretty, medieval hilltop town of Penne in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Just a short walk from a good range of small shops, restaurants & cafes. There is also a Lake and WWF Nature Reserve, surrounded by wonderful countryside including vineyards & olive groves.
This area is well-known for its fantastic food, and the 'slow food' movement .
Penne is close to the Gran Sasso National Park and the sea is only a 35 min drive away through the countryside.
The house is ideally located for exploring this beautiful and unspoilt region between the sea and the mountains....
